Raised his arm, waved good-bye
and watched your train depart

kinda like i miss you.
I see you share one of your mother's hobbies - watching people in airports and train stations, and imagining the story behind the old man with the flowers waiting for the plane, or wondering about the young man who waves goodbye with tears in his eyes. I like this one a lot.
